Ms. Fullerton, who was enrolled in an engineering program at New Jersey Institute of Technology , changed her major after three years to pursue her dream of becoming a math teacher. After dedicating four years as a math teacher, she recognize the need for tutoring and created a program that would benefit all students.
She is quite familiar with some of the challenges that teachers encounter, such as rushing through material in an effort to satisfy districts pacing guide even if the students are not ready to move on. She knew very early that some of her students would be left behind and it broke her heart.
After providing free tutoring to her students after school and seeing the difference in her students' self image and motivation, she knew that creating an unique tutoring would indeed increase students achievement exponentially.
Ms. Fullerton, who earned her master degree in Curriculum and Instruction, knows the Core Curriculum Standard for all subjects and grade level. She has participated in classroom observation studies with Educational Testing Service, ETS, which has helped in the instruction of our students.
